Terms of Service

1. About Us

London Walking Paws ("we", "us", "our") provides professional dog walking, day care, and overnight care services in South West London. We are based in Parsons Green, London SW6. By using our services or creating an account on our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Services

We offer the following services, subject to availability:

  • Group walks -- Small group walks (maximum 4 dogs) in local parks and green spaces.
  • Solo walks -- One-to-one walks for dogs who prefer individual attention.
  • Puppy walks -- Shorter, tailored walks for puppies under 12 months.
  • Day care -- Full-day care at our home in Parsons Green.
  • Overnight stays -- Overnight boarding in a home environment.

All services are subject to availability and a successful introductory meet & greet. We reserve the right to decline service if we believe it is not in the best interest of the dog or our team.

3. Bookings & Cancellations

Bookings can be made through your online account or by contacting us directly. Confirmed bookings are binding.

  • Cancellations with 24+ hours notice: No charge.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice: The full service fee will be charged.
  • No-shows: The full service fee will be charged.

We may cancel or reschedule bookings in cases of severe weather, illness, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will not be charged, and we will endeavour to offer an alternative date.

4. Payments

Payments are due at the time of booking or invoiced weekly for recurring clients. We accept payment via our online platform (processed by Stripe). All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and inclusive of VAT where applicable. Late payments may incur a reasonable administrative fee. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts with outstanding balances.

5. Your Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information about your dog, including health conditions, behavioural issues, and vaccination status.
  • Ensure your dog is up to date on vaccinations and flea/worm treatments.
  • Inform us promptly of any changes to your dog's health or behaviour.
  • Provide a secure collar, lead, and any necessary equipment.
  • Ensure keys and access arrangements are communicated clearly.

6. Liability & Insurance

We carry comprehensive public liability insurance and treat every dog in our care with the utmost attention. However:

  • We are not liable for any pre-existing health conditions or injuries that occur outside of our control.
  • We are not responsible for damage caused by your dog to our property, other dogs, or third parties.
  • In the event of a veterinary emergency, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you. If you are unreachable, we will seek emergency veterinary treatment at your expense.

Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

7. User Accounts

When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Data Protection

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through your account. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
